Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables Laker Hockey to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the profile page and delivered to the author’s subscribers who are known as followers. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow open access. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications. InstructionsTo receive Laker “tweets”, click here to access the “RSS” feed. Then click Subscribe Now to add the feed to your bookmarks. Now you’ll receive all Laker news that is posted on Twitter! Facebook is a free social networking website that allows users to become “friends” with each other in order to share information. Users can share photos, calendars, video, status updates and more. The Lakers will be posting schedules, wallpapers and groups for home games in order to get the fans more involved!
